Parola or Light House at Cape San Agustin is situated at the southernmost tip of the Philippine map particularly at sitio Talisay, barangay Lavigan, this municipality. It serves as a guide to sailors in their navigation. The vicinity of the Lighthouse has an estimated area of two thousand one hundred eighty six (2,186) sq. meters. So far, three (3) lighthouses were already built on its premises. The oldest light house has an estimated height of 50 ft. from the ground while the second one, an umbrella type, has 80 ft.. Both are not functional at present. The newly constructed and functional light house in white paint is 100 ft. tall.
